During the following weeks you will read several short stories. Your project task is to create a Story in the Box about one of the stories you have read. 

You are going to present the Story in the Box to the class. 

4 of the best projects will be selected and displayed in the mediothek. 

You can take whatever box you like for your project.

You design a scene like in the examples below or create a collage with symbols that represent the story. 

You include a little booklet in the box containing aspects of analysis, like plot, character, symbolism, language, topic, intention of the author, biographical notes, historical context, reception of the story, and your personal thoughts on it.

The definition of a short story is a piece of fiction that has a limited number of words, only a few characters and one theme.

-are written in prose and are shorter and less complex than a novel

-often employ an open plot with an abrupt opening and ending

-are told from the point of view of a narrator who is created by the author

- limited number of characters and events

- most got a single central theme
